Hello! I’m Poppy and I run Dusky Slug Flowers, a one acre flower farm based in Robertsbridge, East Sussex.
With a degree in ecology and experience working alongside small farms and building a better food system with Natoora. I caught the farming bug and in 2025 I couldn’t ignore the call anymore, ditching life in the city to set up my own small flower filled oasis.
I use organic, agro-ecological practices to grow an abundance of cut stems for pollinators, for boosting soil biology and to bring beauty to all you lovely people.
Our seasonal stems are available by the bucket load for D.I.Y weddings and to retailers, florists, restaurants and events spaces in London, Hastings, Rye and the South East. You can also pick up directly from the farm.

Why Dusky Slug?
Dusky Slug refers to a species of slug that does more good than harm. A detritivore that breaks down dead plants and aids nutrient cycling. This name is at the heart of the ethos on the farm; look after the little guys and take notice of the small things, as they often hold the key to a happy ecosystem, and also (just maybe) the key to our own happiness…
